K.F. Willington’s botanical paintings are set against empty light-filled skies. Using luminous color, Willington achieves infinite worlds within the intimate detail of nature.

The greatest concentration of fabulous things lies in and around the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District. In my studio building alone, the (Northrup King Building, 1500 Jackson St. NE) there will be work by more than 200 artists to see.

Ingrid Restemayer Studio will be open for its regular hours, 5-9pm this Thursday, May 6th.
This particular “First Thursday” however, is a little extra special as it will be a preview of work to be shown at this year’s Art-A-Whirl. First Thursday is a great time to get an up close and personal preview of the art before the masses descend for the BIG open studio tour later in May.
