"We're Number One!" Not Just a Sports Cheer

The other night a few hundred artists, volunteers, neighborhood supporters, politicians and many others got together in Northeast Minneapolis to celebrate the designation of being the "Best Arts District" in America. This district was officially designated 12 years ago, but was many more years than that in the making. It took countless hours of volunteer work and dedication by not only the artists, but everyone who has a stake in the livelihood of Northeast Minneapolis. Well done all.
